Football Game Preview: Riverside vs. Mid Valley

On Friday Mid Valley take on Riverside at Railriders Stadium-Moosic at 7:00 PM. Mid Valley come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Mid Valley came up short against Lackawanna Trail last Friday, falling 6-20.

Meanwhile, Riverside put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past Holy Cross 49-0. With Riverside ahead 42-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Mid Valley didn't have too much trouble with Riverside the last time the two teams met as they won 40-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mid Valley since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
