Football Game Preview: Winslow vs. Old Town

On Saturday Old Town will take on Winslow at 1:00 PM. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Old Town now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.

Things haven't been easy for Old Town, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. Old Town didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 27-32 to Belfast last Friday.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing seven points in their last game, Winslow made sure to put some points up on the board against Medomak Valley. Winslow took the matchup and then some with a 35-0 victory over Medomak Valley. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

Winslow's win lifted them to 4-3 while Old Town's defeat dropped them down to 2-5. We'll find out if Winslow can add another positive mark to their record or if Old Town can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Winslow's step.
