Basketball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston lost against Mississinawa Valley back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Houston Wildcats fell 46-37 to the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Mississinawa Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Houston will host Botkins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Houston is facing Botkins at the right time seeing as Botkins is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Mississinawa Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Dixie at 7:00 p.m.
