Basketball Recap: Middletown Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Exeter-West Greenwich, Middletown was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 33-26 win over the Providence Country Day Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Islanders also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Middletown now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Providence Country Day, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Middletown will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Davies Career & Tech at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Providence Country Day, they will take on Prout at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
