Basketball Recap: Oley Valley's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

There's no place like home for Oley Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They managed a 66-61 victory over the Conestoga Christian Cougars on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lynx as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Conestoga Christian lost, don't look at Josh Boutaugh. Despite the final result, he went 15 for 25 on his way to 32 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That was a full 52.5% of Conestoga Christian's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Shrom, who earned nine points and five boards.

Oley Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Conestoga Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-11.

As of now, neither Oley Valley nor Conestoga Christian have any future games scheduled.
