Softball Recap: Clarence Takes a Loss

Clarence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Orchard Park Quakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Quakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 last Thursday.

Clarence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Orchard Park, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Clarence will square off against Williamsville North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Orchard Park, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lancaster at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Quakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Legends have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
