Soccer Recap: Watseka Takes a Loss

Watseka was the 8-0 winner over Hoopeston when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 7-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cornjerkers on Tuesday. Watseka have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watseka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hoopeston, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Watseka will challenge rival Oakwood/Catlin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hoopeston is set to face off against their familiar foe Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Westville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
