Football Recap: Andrew Palma and Gerardo Gandara Secure Win for Mountain View

Mountain View won the last time they faced San Elizario and things went their way on Friday too. The Lobos blew past the Eagles 35-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.

A big part of Mountain View's victory came down to the chemistry between Gerardo Gandara and his top target Andrew Palma. Gandara threw for 266 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 78.1% of his passes while Palma gained 175 total yards. Gandara's passing game has become a key predictor of Mountain View's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-7 otherwise.
