Baseball Game Preview: Springdale Bulldogs vs. Glendale Falcons

The Springdale Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Glendale Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Springdale has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 13.

Last Tuesday, Springdale came up short against Har-Ber and fell 7-2.

Meanwhile, Glendale has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.8 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They fell 12-8 to Neosho. On the bright side, the eight- run performance marked the Falcons' highest-scoring match to date.

Glendale's defeat ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2. As for Springdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Springdale came out on top in a nail-biter against Glendale in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
