            Volleyball Preview: Springfield Tigers vs. Mogadore Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            After both having extra time off, the Springfield Tigers and the Mogadore Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
Springfield is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Western Reserve just ended the team's  three-match winning streak  on Wednesday. They lost  3-0 to the Blue Devils.
 Springfield was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22,  25-20.
Mogadore extended their  winning streak to five games  thanks to a huge performance from  Gracie Shull. The Wildcats put the hurt on Garfield with a sharp  3-0 victory on Thursday for which the team can thank  Shull, who  had 15  digs and four  aces. She has been hot, having  posted 14 or more  digs the last six times she's  played.
 One reason for the win was Mogadore's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22,  25-14.
 Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Mogadore, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  matchup:  Springfield has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 11.9  aces per game.
