Basketball Recap: Middlesex Takes a Loss

Middlesex lost against Rappahannock back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Middlesex Chargers took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rappahannock Raiders. The Chargers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Middlesex's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Rappahannock, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.

Middlesex won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middlesex is facing Mathews at the right time seeing as Mathews is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Rappahannock, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Colonial Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rappahannock has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
