Soccer Recap: Los Angeles CES Comes Up Short

If Los Angeles CES was riding high fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Westchester last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Los Angeles CES Unicorns fell 2-0 to the Venice Gondoliers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Unicorns in their matchups with the Gondoliers: they've now lost five in a row.

Los Angeles CES's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for Venice, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-5-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Palisades the next time they take the pitch. Venice will host Palisades at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Los Angeles CES will host them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
