Golder can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the ITW David Speer Academy Pride 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since September 2nd.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Golder got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-20.

Golder's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for ITW David Speer Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
