Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Wins Going Away Against Baldwin

Ottawa not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Baldwin Bulldogs 3-0. The Cyclones were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Cyclones were just returning the favor.

Payten Tate was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had ten digs. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high. Kaelynn Walters also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ottawa and bumps their season record up to 11-19. As for Baldwin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-21-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ottawa will challenge Wamego at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Baldwin, they will face off against Santa Fe Trail on Monday.
