Softball Recap: Richwoods Takes a Loss

Richwoods fell victim to Bloomington and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Purple Raiders. The Knights just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Richwoods' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bloomington, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Richwoods is set to challenge their familiar foe Normal West at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bloomington will take on rival Champaign Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Purple Raiders have won four straight at home, while the Maroons won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
