It was a good run, but Walker unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Holy Innocents Episcopal Golden Bears. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Bears from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Claire Hobbs, who had five digs and two aces.

Walker's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Walker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Cambridge on the 12th. As for Holy Innocents Episcopal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Westminster on the 9th.
