Soccer Recap: Gregori Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Gregori faced off against Franklin on Monday. The Gregori Jaguars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Wildcats are ranked fourth).

Gregori's loss dropped their record down to 6-2-2. As for Franklin, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gregori will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Downey at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Franklin, they will head out to challenge Del Oro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
