Baseball Recap: Delaware Valley's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Delaware Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Valley View, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Warriors put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 11-1 win on Tuesday. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Liam Onofry, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Delaware Valley is 3-1 when Onofry posts two or more runs, but 1-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Newton, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Delaware Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2025.
