Volleyball Recap: Matanzas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Matanzas can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Winter Springs Bears on Monday. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

While Matanzas was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Winter Springs' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-13, 25-18.

Matanzas' defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Winter Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Matanzas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winter Springs, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Lake Howell on the 14th.
