Recap: Sky View Bobcats vs. Manti Templars
The Sky View Bobcats pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Manti. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (64), Sky View still had to take the loss.
Liam Guthrie and Bryton Williams certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Guthrie scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists, while Williams scored 19 points along with 5 assists. The game was Guthrie's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Macade Rolle was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 3 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Sky View and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Manti, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sky View will take on Pine View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manti, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome South Summit at 6:00 p.m. on December 8th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (South Summit is ranked fourth, while Manti is ranked sixth).
