Basketball Recap: Thompson Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Stanley came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Thompson, but Karter Peterson wouldn't allow it. The Thompson Tommies walked away with a 45-37 win over the Stanley Blue Jays on Saturday thanks in part to Peterson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. Those 13 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Drew Odenbach was another key player, putting up six points and 13 rebounds. Odenbach is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Thompson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Stanley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Thompson is taking a road trip to face off against Kindred at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Thompson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season. As for Stanley, they will look to defend their home court on January 6, 2025 against Watford City at 7:15 p.m.
