Central not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Tradition Prep Pirates with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cobras.

While Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Lauryn Rodriguez paced Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Rodriguez were helped by Mikenzie Langen and Alexis Clements, who contributed 13 assists each. Clements was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Central now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Tradition Prep, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will square off against Sebastian River at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tradition Prep, they will face off against John Carroll Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
