Softball Recap: Eastern Comets vs. Caston Comets
After flying high against Lewis Cass last Thursday, Eastern came back down to earth. The Eastern Comets lost 12-2 to the Caston Comets on Tuesday.
Emillia Andrews was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
On Caston's side, Addison Zimpleman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Zimpleman was also solid in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 2-for-3.
