Basketball Game Preview: East Leopards vs. Highland Rams

East and Highland are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The East Leopards will take on the Highland Rams at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

East and West faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. East was beaten by West 93-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Leopards in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 73-21 loss at the hands of Alta. The Rams were down 61-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for East, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Everything went East's way against Highland in their previous meeting back in January, as East made off with a 45-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for East since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
