East Rockingham extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 12-3 in the process. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Turner Ashby Knights. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-10 back in April.
Landon Bruce spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
