Football Recap: Westfield School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Westfield School was the 21-14 winner over Tiftarea Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hornets and the Panthers were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but the Hornets suffered a 20-19 defeat. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Win Hoots, who picked up 134 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one rushing score. Jackson Hair was another key rusher, rushing for 122 yards and one score.

Westfield School's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tiftarea Academy, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Westfield School has already played their next contest, a 33-22 victory against First Presbyterian Day on the 19th. As for Tiftarea Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-20 defeat against Southland Academy on the 19th.
