Basketball Game Preview: Stamford Black Knights vs. Wilton Warriors

The Stamford Black Knights will face off against the Wilton Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Wilton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stamford, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Stamford sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-37 victory over Norwalk. Given the Black Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Bears are ranked 129th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Wilton was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 53-52 to Ludlowe.

The win got Stamford back to even at 8-8. As for Wilton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
