Softball Recap: Ridgewood's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

The matchup between Ridgewood and Claymont on Monday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. Ridgewood put the hurt on Claymont with a sharp 15-5 victory. The win was just business as usual for the Generals, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Addison Lahmers was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Lahmers was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Ava Kulbacki was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Miciah Cahill, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Ridgewood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Ridgewood's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will head out to face off against West Muskingum at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Claymont, they will face off against Ridgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
