Bluffton is a perfect 7-0 against Fort Wayne Wayne since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Generals at 5:30 p.m. Bluffton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Things were looking good for Bluffton after they put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Manchester by a score of 9-8.

Isabella Stout was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Marly Drayer, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Wayne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 24-6 to Northfield.

Fort Wayne Wayne's record now sits at 0-3. As for Bluffton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Bluffton beat Fort Wayne Wayne 9-6 in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Generals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
