Eagle has gone 10-0 against Capital recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagle Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Capital Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Eagle came up into this matchup off a tough 20-point loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Timberline by a score of 56-53 on Saturday. The Mustangs have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Meanwhile, Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Kuna.

Capital's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Eagle, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-4.

Eagle beat Capital 55-45 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Eagle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Capital turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
