Softball Recap: Beauregard's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Beauregard managed to slip by Elmore County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets lost 13-3 to the Panthers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered against the Panthers since April 11, 2023.

Beauregard's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6. As for Elmore County, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Beauregard will venture away from home to square off against Moody at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 3.7, the Blue Devils 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Elmore County, they will be playing at home against Saint James at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
