Basketball Recap: Ahmere Bradley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Davis Sr. over Jesuit

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 62-40 to the Jesuit Marauders. The Blue Devils lost against the Marauders in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 88-45 score last time.

Davis Sr. lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ahmere Bradley, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. Those 16 points gave Bradley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was DJ Michel, who posted eight points.

Davis Sr.'s loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Davis Sr. will square off against Whitney at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Davis Sr. is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season. As for Jesuit, they will face off against Del Oro at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Del Oro has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
