Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beacon). They never let the Liberty Indians get on the board and left with an 18-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Beacon pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Beacon beat the Indians by a score of 10-0 later that day.
