Volleyball Recap: Ilwaco Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Ilwaco was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Chief Leschi on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fishermen came up short against the North Beach Hyaks on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hyaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-11.

Ilwaco dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Beach, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ilwaco will take on rival Forks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Beach is set to challenge their familiar foe Raymond/South Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
