Old Bridge came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 42-22 margin over the Colonia Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Colonia lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Rj Wortman, who picked up 161 receiving yards and one score. His receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 receiving yards. Dylan Chiera was another key player, throwing for 321 yards and a pair of TDs.

Old Bridge's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Colonia, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Old Bridge nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
