Softball Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

If Warren Central was riding high fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Ridgeland last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings fell 7-4 to the Vicksburg Gators on Tuesday. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Gators earlier this season, when they won 18-0.

Sydney Hern was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. KK Williamson was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Warren Central now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Vicksburg, their record now sits at 6-12.

Coming up, Warren Central is taking a road trip to face off against Clinton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Arrows have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Vicksburg, they will challenge Terry at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
