Basketball Recap: Granite Hills Takes a Loss

Granite Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 49-30 bruising from the Silverado Hawks. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Granite Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Silverado, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Adelanto the next time they take the court. Granite Hills will head out to face Adelanto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Silverado will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 15th.
