Baseball Recap: Smyer Comes Up Short

Smyer was the 12-2 winner over Morton when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Bobcats fell just short of the Indians by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Smyer now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Morton, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Smyer beat the Indians by a score of 4-1 on Tuesday.
