Softball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette fell victim to Sulphur and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Sulphur Golden Tors. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Lions were not able to get on the board.

Lafayette has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6-1 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Sulphur and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Lafayette will welcome Barbe at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sulphur, they will head out to challenge New Iberia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
