Baseball Recap: Hitchcock Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fort Bend Willowridge last Thursday, Hitchcock came back down to earth. The Hitchcock Bulldogs fell 9-5 to the Palacios Sharks on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Sharks: they've now lost eight in a row.

Hitchcock now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Palacios, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Coming up, Hitchcock will take on Fort Bend Dulles in a tournament on Thursday. As for Palacios, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wharton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
