High Point is 9-1 against Suitland since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. High Point is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season.

High Point will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Flowers, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 8-3 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Yojancel Soto made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and three runs.

In other batting news, Ramon Brito Jr was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.

High Point was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Flowers only posted a batting average of .077.

Meanwhile, Suitland was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to Parkdale. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 13, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Suitland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for High Point, their record is now 7-2.

High Point took their win against Suitland in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
