Basketball Recap: Shoshone Comes Up Short

Shoshone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Raft River Trojans, falling 63-36. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Trojans are ranked 27th).

Shoshone's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Raft River, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Shoshone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-17 loss against Oakley on the 9th. Raft River has also already played their next matchup, a 63-36 victory against Glenns Ferry on the 9th.
