Football Game Preview: Foxborough vs. Stoughton

Stoughton looks to establish their home field advantage on Friday as they take on Foxborough at Canton High School at 7:30 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

If Stoughton were riding high off their 43-22 takedown of Framingham two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Stoughton took a 7-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Catholic Memorial.

Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Foxborough weren't quite King Philip Regional's equal in the second half when they met last week. Foxborough lost to King Philip Regional by a decisive 0-17 margin. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Foxborough.

Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
