Recap: Tullahoma Wildcats vs. Rockvale
The Tullahoma Wildcats were the 37-33 winner over Rockvale when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Tullahoma was the victim of a rough 51-30 loss at the hands of Rockvale on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Tullahoma can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 140th, while Rockvale is ranked 49th).
Rockvale's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kamaria Murray, who scored 12 points. The match was Murray's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ayeden Wilkerson, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Tullahoma's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-5. As for Rockvale, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tullahoma will be home for the holidays to greet Coffee County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Coffee County Central will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Rockvale will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Region at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
