Soccer Recap: University Lab's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

University Lab had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the McKinley Panthers. Given the Cubs' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Panthers are ranked 100th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

University Lab is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those seven games. As for McKinley, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9-2.

As of now, neither University Lab nor McKinley have any future games scheduled.
