Moanalua is 9-0 against Kalaheo since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Moanalua Menehune will face off against the Kalaheo Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Moanalua has four straight wins, Kalaheo has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Saturday, couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 68-13 stomp they got against McKinley.

Meanwhile, Kalaheo suffered their biggest defeat since January 4th on Saturday. They were beaten by Kahuku 66-17. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Moanalua pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Kalaheo, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Moanalua strolled past Kalaheo in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 47-31. Will Moanalua repeat their success, or does Kalaheo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
