Volleyball Recap: Chapman Fighting Irish vs. Sabetha Bluejays
Chapman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Sabetha Bluejays. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Irish of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19.
Chapman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Sabetha, the win snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-19 record.
Chapman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Silver Lake on the 5th. As for Sabetha, they will face off against Nemaha Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sabetha is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
