Football Game Recap: Watford City vs. Devils Lake/Minnewaukan

Watford City had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. On Friday, they lost to Devils Lake/Minnewaukan by a decisive 6-26 margin. If Watford City were expecting payback for the 12-19 loss against Devils Lake/Minnewaukan the last time the teams met, then they were shortchanged. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Watford City off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Devils Lake/Minnewaukan a 1-0 record.

Next week, Watford City take on Jamestown at 7:00 PM. As for Devils Lake/Minnewaukan, they will face of against Central Cass.
