Softball Recap: Rogers Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Rogers proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bentonville West Wolverines 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mountaineers have posted since April 25, 2024.

Rogers pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games.
