The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Argonaut has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills will arrive with six straight victories.

Argonaut came up short against Liberty Ranch on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Argonaut's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.

Argonaut beat John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills 3-1 in their previous meeting back in August of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
